Set in Ponsonby’s premium shopping destination, Mackelvie Street, guests to the space enter via a grand pink door to find a custom six seater blush lounger, gold racks and a feminine white, gold, and blush theme throughout – all in keeping with the acclaimed bridal designer’s sought-after aesthetic.
“It’s important Kiwi women have the opportunity to experience a luxurious wedding offering with complete poise and ease,” says Trish, who splits her time between her hometown of Auckland and Los Angeles.
“Globally, there are multiple flagship stores like this… I’m really excited to help Kiwi brides make their special day as special as it can be.
“The new concept store will be a destination for both complete custom and semi-custom design and offer every bride a one-of-a-kind luxury experience – think champagne on arrival, live dress sketching and the opportunity for intimate one-on-one consultations with Trish.

Trish says the demand in New Zealand for both her custom designs and yearly collections was the motivation behind her Auckland expansion.
“The demand for bridal couture design in New Zealand has been growing over the past year. Our weekends have been booking up two to three months in advance,” she says.
It will still be worth getting in early though – as with a growing client base both locally and internationally – including a steady celebrity clientele in Los Angeles – she will now only be seeing 50 New Zealand brides a year for exclusive custom design.
Trish will use the space as a creative hub to not only engage with brides and wedding personnel on a daily basis but also host international industry guests.
