As a born and bred kiwi, not only does Cushla know her way around New Zealand but has also captured love stories all around Europe.

Hi, my name is Cushla! I'm a chocolate lover, a Beyonce fan, a travel addict and a wedding photographer. I'm a photographer who quietly captures the intimate moments of the day and ends up on the dance floor, poppin' n lockin' with your Uncle Jack's second wife, Irma.

Photographing weddings is literally my dream job. I love meeting like-minded couples and hearing about their unique story, life's adventures, and plans for their big day. There's so much room for creativity on a wedding day, and there is nothing that makes me happier than photographing a range of different couples and one-of-a-kind love stories all the time. From the engagement session to the morning of the big day, seeing my couples walk down the aisle and watching them party the night away… weddings are such a beautiful thing to be a part of, and I treasure every single one.

MY STYLE

My style has been described as luxurious but natural, spontaneous, and nostalgic. I capture real moments and create photographs with feeling. I absolutely love working with adventurous, loved up couples to tell their unique story.

Although I photograph a range of classic and alternative weddings, there are always two things in common - love and adventure. All my couples are crazy for each other and it’s my passion to find new and interesting ways to show their connection in my photographs. I’m always up for an adventure and photograph in any location - beaches, woodlands or concrete jungles… hit me up! 

MY APPROACH

I treat my couples like friends and everyone who books me gets an experience, not just some photos on the day. I’ll be your secret helper, an extra pair of hands, and planning advisor to make your day as perfect as it can be!

I absolutely love weddings in all their shapes, forms and sizes, and no matter how many weddings I photograph, I’m so excited to be a part of every single one. A couples’ wedding day is one of the most significant days of their life, so I structure my day around two key objectives: 

1. Take awesome photographs the couple will cherish forever

2. Make sure they have a damn good time while I do!
