Hot off the heels of Air New Zealand Fashion week, I’ve been keeping an eye on the shows in Paris and Milan for inspiration.
There’s a lot for the fashionista, plenty for your bridal party and the occasional touch of bridalwear.
Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf’s show was definitely a marriage of fashion and geometry. But all I saw was wedding cakes.
Tiered. Sliced. And topped with icing flowers.

To add to the sad times of Toronto's comic stores: I was talking to one of the guys from Hairy Tarantula north, and he said they're no longer going to carry trade paperbacks because retailers like BMV can cut the cost so much, its not profitable to keep them in stock anymore.

Police said they are looking for three black men, one wearing all-black, one wearing a gray and blue hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans and one wearing a Northface brand jacket. Anyone with information may call Det. Joseph Alonzo at 610-250-6780.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a dark-colored North Face jacket and light pants. The suspect is also believed to be operating a newer model pickup truck, possibly two-tone, with a darker color up top and a lighter color or possibly chrome accents on the bott

Mike Wells said he had spotted a Canada goose being pulled below the surface of the River Lea in east London, which “disappeared so fast it didn’t make a sound.

Of the goose killing, witness Mike Wells said, "We were just passing the time of day looking at a Canada goose 30 yards away, but then suddenly it disappeared. It went down vertically. There wasn't any hesitation, it went straight down. It didn't come back up."

Lea Rivers Trust staff reported seeing a Canada goose being dragged beneath the surface in 2005, and large holes were found burrowed into the bank of the river.

Moncler jacket is an Italian company of French origin, best-known for its puffers and skiwear, so obviously their clothes have that warmth factor. We were shooting in temperatures hitting the mid-30s and I felt as toasty as if I was sitting on Bondi Beach.
