46 Engagement Rings! Which One Do You Love Most?

From the traditional to the unconventional, be inspired by the colours of the rainbow with these forty-six sparklers.

Ring shopping. You’re set to choose your ring with your soon-to-be groom, and now you need to know your diamond from your ruby?

    STONE TYPES 101

    DIAMOND
There's a reason diamonds are so valuable. Much harder than sapphire, they are by far the most scratch-resistant rock on the market – ideal for lifelong jewellery. Diamonds appear in a variety of hues from pink to black, as well as the classic white.

    SAPPHIRE AND RUBY
Sapphire and ruby belong to the mineral species corundum. Sapphires also exist in hues such as yellow and pink, with the red version called a ruby. They are suitably durable.

    OTHERS
Morganite, emerald, amethyst, aquamarine, spinel, citrine, topaz... while they hold many pretty properties, be prepared to have them regularly repaired and polished (or even completely replaced) as they will wear easily with everyday use.
