Blackcaps bowler Trent Boult married his gorgeous girl, Gert Smith, in the stunning surrounds of Kauri Bay Boomrock in Clevedon last weekend.

Gert, a school teacher, chose a Hera Couture venetian lace silk tulle Della Pieta gown and custom veil . The detailed gown featured a low back, but the blonde beauty accessorised when outdoors with a Hera Couture fur cape in Snow Ivory – a smart and stylish option in cooler temperatures.

Hera Couture founder and designer Katie Yeung says it was a thrill to work with Gert, who she described to New Zealand Weddings as "beautiful inside and out, chilled and sweet."

"I really enjoyed having her and her parents at our Auckland flagship store. She is well-loved by her parents who come to visit Auckland from Tauranga often for business.

"Of course every time when Trent is mentioned, there's this very sweet shy smile on her face. She reminds me every time she's here at Hera that she is well loved and liked by her friends and family and brought up to really care for others."

The couple's wedding day squad didn't stop there, Gert & Trent worked with many other industry heavyweights to create a whimsical winter wonderland; florals and styling by On My Hand , makeup by Fiona Clare Beauty , photography by Danelle Bohane , and celebrant Justine Russell-Cowan .

"The best day of my life and so much more," said her cricketer beau on his Instagram.

"An absolutely amazing day celebrating with all our closest family & friends. Thanks to everyone who influenced the day, and to the gorgeous Gert for making all my dreams come true. I love you,"
