The world’s leading bridal fashion firm, Pronovias , presents the Atelier Pronovias and Pronovias 2018 Preview Collections, designed by the firm's Creative Director, Hervé Moreau.
In the new designs from the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Preview Collection, the utmost attention has been paid right down to the smallest detail.
BROCADE CREPE AND GEMSTONE EMBROIDERY
This year the brand has opted for crepe with a draped effect, in order to create more movement in pieces, and uses brocade crepe for the first time, a revolutionary fabric that creates a design with visually unique characteristics.
The brand focuses on fabrics such as gauze worked into micro drapes, chiffon, soft satin, organza and silk mikado. The star of the show are the gemstone embroideries that cover the entire bodice, turning the designs into absolute jewels.
FEMININITY, SENSUALITY AND ELEGANCE
The classic mermaid style is revitalised with a new take on proportions that allows for more pronounced lateral and frontal necklines, accentuated backs and exaggerated slits at the leg.
In addition, the new interior corsets create unique necklines that further enhance the sensuality of the bride. Details such as draped sleeves and camisoles are incorporated into the most romantic designs.
Building on the success of transformable dresses, the collection features removable cape veils, which together with the overskirts offer a wide range of possibilities.
Plunging backs show off a little skin. Necklines and leg slits are reinvented with openings at the front and side of the designs that delicately enhance a woman's femininity.
TRANSPARENCIES, COLLARS AND NATURAL MOTIFS
The collection pays great attention to detail. It astonishes with delicate gemstone collars, applied throughout the back and precious embroidery in metallic threads, stones and cut-out patterns.
Pronovias gowns are stocked in New Zealand by Modes , Brides on Thorndon, and Robyn Cliffe.
