From your experience attending weddings, what makes for a great reception atmosphere?

Whether straight after the ceremony while the bride and groom are getting photos taken, or following formalities later in the night, having entertainment options available goes a long way towards creating a fun, buzzing atmosphere. This is where a photo booth comes into its own – we love how much enjoyment couples and guests receive as they try on props, share their strips with other guests and have a good laugh.

What is included with hireage of Little Black Photo Booth?

Most couples book for two hours, which includes set up and delivery, staff members to run the booth, personalised design of the photo strips, props, unlimited double-copy photo strips (meaning the couple gets a copy to keep too) and a CD of all the photos. All snaps are also available online the following morning.

What makes a photobooth worth hiring?

One great drawcard is the fact that you get great bang for your buck: the photo booth itself serves as entertainment, while the strips make great favours and additions to the wedding album.  In the digital age, we find that people place value on having something tactile they both can take home to put on the fridge as well as download to their favourite social media site.

What sets Little Black Photo Booth apart from other booths?

Little Black Photo Booth is New Zealand’s original photo booth company. After launching in 2009, we have attended more than 1600 functions so have got our service down to a fine art. We’ll bend over backwards to make sure every guest has an enjoyable experience, and using a combination of charm, props and of course, alcohol, we’ll get even the shyest guest to use the booth.

How far in advance should couples book?

We have taken bookings as late as one week out from the big day, but a few months in advance is preferable – it’s great to have some time to talk to the couple before the wedding. This gives us a feel for the kind of energy they want to create at their function, which helps us design the perfect photo strip header artwork for them.
