Clear glass gems are often sold in craft shops as candle weights, or look online for mosaic and specialty glass shops that sell larger sizes or shapes. Select the images or text that you want to feature, and use a laser printer or photocopier to print them out. Roughly cut out the images and use PVA glue (which dries clear) to attach them to the underside of the glass gem. When the glue has dried, trim the excess paper with scissors. You could also add a magnetic backing at this point to turn the glass beads in to fridge magnets.
