When it comes to finding big-day attire, girls aren’t the only ones who need to pay special attention to their body shape. Whether he’s tall and slim or broad and muscular, use this guide to find a suit that effortlessly flatters his frame.

Short and slim
Choose a design that elongates the body by creating the illusion of height, such as a three-button suit. Extra padding will broaden his shoulders, while pleated trousers can help make his lower half appear wider. Helpful Hint: A dark suit with pinstripes will lengthen his frame.

Short and broad
Single-breasted, one or two-button suits are kinder to this body shape than double-breasted jackets. Streamline the look by going for a natural shoulder line with a shawl collar. A waistcoat worn underneath the suit will trim and smooth out his midsection.
Helpful Hint: Be fashion forward and practical at the same time by choosing a jacket paired with a long knitted tie for a slimming effect.

Tall and slim
This type of physique looks good in most outfits. If he wants to appear bigger, bulk up with a stylish double-breasted jacket.
Helpful Hint: Ensure that his jacket sleeves and trouser legs are long enough – the cuffs should just be visible underneath the jacket sleeve and the trousers must cover the top of the shoes.

Tall and muscular
A sharp silhouette suits tall, muscly men. When it comes to his suit, a classic tuxedo or a single- or two-button jacket is the most flattering.
Helpful Hint: Make sure his shirt gives him enough room around the neck so that he feels comfortable wearing a tie for the entire day.
